As locals with extensive industry experience, QCoal has exceptional capability and knowledge of the environment in which we operate. This is demonstrated by the discovery and development of numerous coal deposits over the past 20 years.
The northern Bowen Basin coal assets of the Moranbah Coal Measures are the central focus of QCoal’s exploration projects. QCoal’s EPC 586, located south of Collinsville, is believed to be one of the most productive exploration permits for coal granted in Queensland history (in terms of number of granted mining leases generated).
With more than 20 years of uninterrupted coal exploration experience, QCoal remains committed to exploring, discovering, and developing coal in Queensland.
