The QCoal Foundation
QCoal Group is the Founding Donor of the QCoal Foundation, which was established in 2013 with a mission to build resilient regional and remote Queensland communities through the pillars of Health, Education and Liveability.
QCoal Foundation applies a social-venture approach to philanthropy that identifies community need and then supports the development and trial of innovative solutions, with the aim of achieving sustainable, long-term operating models.
QCoal Foundation’s social venture partnerships include partnering with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) for the RFDS Dental Service and Aeromedical Training Academy in Bundaberg, with Act for Kids for the Re-ACT CQ program, and with Hear and Say for the RETAIN program. The Foundation also provides a thriving Community Grant Program, as well as an annual $30,000 QCoal Foundation Scholarship program with James Cook University.

QCoal Foundation is proud to be a founding partner of the RFDS Dental Service.
The Foundation has made a profoundly positive impact on the lives of thousands of Queenslanders living in regional and remote communities. In addition to the support of QCoal Group, QCoal Foundation is a public foundation that receives donations from a wide range of donors to enhance its existing programs and support the delivery of new community initiatives.
